La Viande is an artist-run contemporary art space in the heart of the Shoreditch Triangle.   We present in-house Gallery shows featuring our own artists, and the space is also available to hire.

In a fantastic location, with the original Victorian shop-front looking onto a busy street, La Viande is a stone's throw from Hoxton Square and the White Cube. The gallery is a great space, with beautiful Victorian brickwork and flooring, and a good few quirky features, all combined with modern white hanging space. 

The Gallery Director, Ellen Cumber, is a Fine Art graduate and practicing painter.  The gallery's programme is extremely diverse - exhibitions have included painting, sculpture, printing, installation, drawing, photography, 3-D design, graffitti, performance, site-specific work...

If hiring the gallery, access to our mailing list, local promotion and listings, links to your website and pride of place on the website homepage are included.

We are willing to subsidize some shows to give new, young, and up-and-coming artists an opportunity to make an impact and get their work seen - for more info see the rates page to see what we can offer if you are a recent graduate.

With a wealth of practical experience to offer, we can accommodate a variety of exhibitions, and arts related or social events.
